Driving in the Yukon

Only in the Yukon do we have these amazing sights to see as we drive .. along our very well kept dirt highways (yes, you read this right ... dirt highways - tis how we roll in the North), although the main highways are 'paved' ... and the one I drive on (The Campbell Highway is partially paved, although the dirt sections are much better than the paved sections).

We've gotta get back up the Campbell - it's been a few years now, and I love the country it goes through.

I do enjoy driving the Campbell (at least when the pits in the road aren't bigger than my tires :-) ) .. but I also can't wait to get out and travel some of the other highways too - First on my list to hit is the Dempster (if and when I get time).

Nice pictures Kendra. There are a few blue bridges around here as well. Hopefully I'll be able to share them on my blog soon enough. Yukon looks a bit like here....just slightly smaller trees, a lot less mountains and probably a little cooler temperatures.
